How do I return a book or CD?

What are the site's browser requirements?

The ISPWorld Partner Certification Program web site takes advantage of the functionality provided by Netscape Navigator version 4 or later and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 or later. The browser must also have both JavaScript and Cookies enabled for the book ordering system to function. The online courses also require the installation of Macromedia Shockwave and Real Audio Player.

The ISPWorld Partner Certification Program site does not support America Online's built-in browser. AOL users should install Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer.

Why are the courses bundled?

The ISPWorld Partner Certification Program course bundles are arranged to provide the participant with a track for certification preparation. Each of the three bundles provides the courseware for four different certifications.

  • The Basic Networking Bundle provides a track for the NACSE (National Association of Communication Systems Engineers) and Associate Network Specialist and the CompTIA (Computer Technology Industry Association) Network+ certification examinations.

  • The Advanced Networking Bundle provides a track for the NACSE Senior Network Specialist certification examination.

  • The WebMaster Bundle provides a track for the NACSE Webmaster certification and the CompTIA i-Net+ certification examinations.

What is the CompTIA i-Net+ Certification?

The i-Net+ certification program is designed specifically for any individual interested in demonstrating baseline technical knowledge that would allow him or her to pursue a variety of Internet-related careers. The certification program validates entry-level knowledge of Internet technology. Certification not only helps individuals enter into the Internet industry, but also helps managers determine a prospective employee’s knowledge and skill level. The exam is designed to test Internet technical professionals who are hands-on specialists responsible for implementing and maintaining Internet, Intranet and Extranet infrastructure and services as well as development of related applications.

Earning the i-Net+ certification means that the candidate possesses the knowledge needed to configure and install the TCP/IP client. This exam covers a wide range of vendor and product neutral networking technologies.

What is the difference between the CD-ROM, the textbook and the online course?

The information found in the textbook, online course and CD-ROMs associated with this series provide similar content. The online course is essentially identical to the textbook, but provides additional information in the form of animations, audio descriptions and pretests that are not found in the textbook. The CD-ROM is a copy of the web course pressed to a CD-ROM for your convenience.

What if I have trouble understanding a concept? How do I get help?

You may use the student web boards associated with the courses. The access to the web board is found on the first page once you have successfully logged into the course. This is your first line of support. You may also send an email to ISPWorld@westnetinc.com.

How long will it take to receive my books once I have ordered the material?

If you are in the continental U.S., please allow 5 business days to receive your shipment. If you are outside the U.S., you should allow 10 business days. If your order is back-ordered, you will rececive an automated email with an anticipated ship date.

How long will it take to get a Certificate of Completion once I have passed an exam?

Once you have successfully finished an exam you will be emailed your score immediately. Your score will also be emailed to ISPWorld who will provide the certificate via mail. Please allow one month for the certificate to arrive. If you have not received your certificate in one month, send a request to ISPWorld@westnetinc.com to find out the status of your certificate.
